What does therapy look like?
Psychotherapy or counseling is a collaborative process during which you work with an experienced counselor who helps you explore and understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a safe and non-judgmental setting.
Thanks to counseling, you will uncover the underlying causes of your mental health issues and distress and learn how to overcome them, i.a., by developing healthy ways of dealing with life’s stressors and challenges.

Therapy will not “miraculously” remove all the problems from your life, but it will help you cope with them in a healthy manner and build the resilience needed to face future challenges.
Depending on the type of therapy, you will participate in guided conversations that will help you gain a better understanding of your mental and emotional state so that you can improve it and regain balance and joy in life.

Anxiety

Untamed anxiety will leave you feeling stuck, drained, or unable to focus on everyday tasks. Anxiety adversely affects your thoughts, feelings, and even physical condition.
Therapy allows you to pinpoint and address the root causes of your anxiety so that you can develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.
By understanding those causes of your anxiety, we can work together to change the way your mind and body respond to stress.

Depression

It’s a persistent and overwhelming sense of emptiness, discouragement, and hopelessness. When dealing with depression, you may feel constantly weighed down, struggle to find joy (even in things you like), or experience a lack of energy, even for the simplest tasks.
Depression therapy will help you uncover emotions that may have been repressed or hidden, allowing you to process them and let go of the weight you’ve been carrying. With our help, you regain your energy and motivation, rekindle your sense of purpose, and rediscover the things that bring you joy.
Trauma & PTSD

Trauma occurs when distressing experiences leave a lasting impact on your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. And PTSD is a specific response to trauma, often associated with reliving the event long after it has passed.
Trauma & PTSD therapy will help you overcome both issues and find relief from your difficult past. We achieve this primarily thanks to a powerful therapeutic technique known as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). It helps reduce the intensity of triggers that cause distressing reactions, thus allowing you to break free from past trauma.
